My name is Vince... I'm a 3+1
( I became a 3+1, one day while riding my motorcycle. )
“ This is my story."
"I've always believed that pretty much everyone has a passion of their own. I have several, but two are embedded deep in my heart. The first, my love of God, his son Jesus Christ, and the holy spirit.
Second, riding my motorcycle,
I remember the day because it was one of those perfect days for riding. I was heading north on
I-95 in Florida, when a 'no-question' life deciding situation was placed in front of me with very little time to react. The truck that I was following suddenly changed lanes. Ahead,
something was taking up most of the lane we were riding in and
I wasn’t sure I was going to clear it.
I didn’t. It caught my highway peg on my left side just as I lifted my foot off of it.
The impact at 70 plus MPH sheared it completely off the engine guard causing my front wheel
to go into an uncontrollable frontend wobble.
To this day I don't have a clue how I was able to get the bike under control and safely onto the shoulder of the road. However, there I was sitting on my broken bike, motor off.
It was then that I realized, I was NEVER ALONE.
God, his son Jesus Christ and the holy spirit were with me."
THE
BIKER'S PRAYER
Holy Father, I pray to you,
your son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, to be my guide and shield,
to protect and keep me safe as I ride.
I ask of you, the Holy 3 to keep me always alert and aware of the ever present dangers of the road.
I ask to be blessed to experience the sights, sounds and wonder of your creations.
I thank you for all of your blessings and take comfort in knowing I am Never Alone, that I am always 3+1.
I pray these words to you through your son Jesus Christ. Amen.
